Palmera Inn and Suites

Hilton Head, South Carolina

Palmera Inn and Suites in Hilton Head is basically a paradise where you can lounge like royalty while I sniff around like it’s my own backyard. They’ve got plenty of space for me to stretch my paws, and the humans get to enjoy cozy rooms plus a pool that’s perfect for pretending they’re in a fancy resort while I judge them from the sidelines.

   Nacho Review

Mom & Pop’s 2-Cents

“My humans say Palmera Inn and Suites is the perfect mix of ‘relaxing beach escape’ and ‘mini kitchen bliss’—basically, their version of a spa day that includes my sniffs and snuggles.”

What the Humans Loved

  • Rooms: Spacious suites with full kitchens, private balconies, sofa beds, flat-screen TVs and free Wi‑Fi—ideal for lounging post-sniff patrol

  • Resort: Relaxed vibe with an outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, business center, picnic/barbecue area, and complimentary breakfast served each morning .

  • Location: Just a few miles from Hilton Head’s beaches, golf courses, and Shelter Cove area—close enough for convenience, far enough from the tourist swarm

  • Resort Dining: Continental breakfast daily; no on-site full-service restaurant, so humans hit nearby casual eateries (and sometimes shared snacks with me) .

  • Gym: Decent on-site fitness center—perfect for humans to burn off all the breakfast calories while I pretend to judge their form .

  • Activities & Amenities: Free bike rentals, garden and picnic area, laundry, complimentary parking, and a fun hot tub—humans and I both approve.

  • Cost & Extra Fees:

    • Average room rate: around $209/night, with ranges typically between $136–$436 depending on season

    • Pet fee: $90–$130 per stay (varies by length), dogs up to 75 lbs, max 2 per room

    • Resort fee: ~$21/night covers fitness center, wifi, pool, bike storage, coffee, laundry, business center, and parking

Final Thoughts

Palmera Inn and Suites is a great dog-friendly, affordable resort. I got grassy spots for sniffing, a pet bed, and treats. What more could a pup ask for.
