About me
I’m Nacho—world traveler, professional bacon enthusiast, chief cuddle officer and your guide to the best dog-friendly destinations around. I was rescued by the amazing humans at CARES Cedartown Animal Rescue, and adopted by Troy and Joni Deus, and let’s just say I’ve been living my best life ever since.
I’m a one-of-a-kind mix: part Terrier, part Chow, part Beagle, part Yorkie, part Chihuahua, part Pekingese, and part mystery. But what really matters is this: I’ve got a nose for luxury and a tail that wags for adventure.

I started Pawsome Travel to help other dogs (and their humans) find the best places to stay, eat, and play. I also dig into the latest and greatest products, chew them up, and make my recommendations. From five-star resorts with plush pet beds to local restaurants that serve bacon on the patio—if it’s worth sniffing out, I’ll find it. My dream is to become the world’s biggest dog influencer. Mr. Beast, if you’re reading this, I’m coming for you. (My parents are hoping I’ll aim a little lower… like learning not to bark at the vacuum.)
When I’m not reviewing the latest dog-friendly hot spots, you’ll find me doing what I love most: taking long walks on the beach, soaking up sun on a patio, and, of course, sniffing butts (hey, don’t judge—we all do it).
My parents, Troy and Joni, are my travel buddies and business partners. Troy comes from the technology world so he is our IT guy and WordPress bitch. Joni keeps me alive and makes such I have an endless supply of dog treats and toys to test out. They love great food, exploring new places, and spoiling me rotten. Together, we’re on a mission to make traveling with your dog more pawsome than ever.
