Home2 Suites Hilton Head
Hilton Head, South Carolina
Home2 Suites Hilton Head is like a comfy chew toy—nothing too fancy, but surprisingly satisfying. It’s got grassy spots for my royal business, free breakfast for my humans (which I obviously sample), and enough room in the suite for me to do my post-walk zoomies. It’s an affordable great dog-friendly resort in beautiful Hilton Head.
Nacho Review
Home2 Suites Hilton Head may not have cabana service or a personal dog butler, but it checks all the boxes for a solid tail-wagging stay—especially if your humans like a free breakfast and a fridge big enough to hold your chicken.
🐶 Dog Amenities: Basic but practical—waste bag stations, grassy relief areas, and (if you’re lucky) a treat from the front desk.
💸 Dog Fee: $75 per pet for stays up to 4 nights, or $125 for longer visits. I say that’s a bargain for the privilege of my company.
🎾 Dog Activities: No on-site dog park, but plenty of space to strut your stuff on-leash around the property and show off your perfect “sit” for strangers.
⚖️ Dog Size/Weight Restrictions: Up to 2 dogs per room, each under 50 lbs—sorry, Great Danes, maybe next time.
🚽 Bathroom Spots: Marked pet relief areas with grass and bags provided—because apparently the hallway carpet is “frowned upon.”
🌴 Nearby Dog-Friendly Activities: Quick drive or shuttle to Palmetto Dunes for scenic walks, Shelter Cove for waterfront sniffing, and even Burke’s Beach during dog-approved hours.

Mom & Pop’s 2-Cents
My humans liked Home2 Suites Hilton Head because it was “affordable, convenient, and had everything we needed”—which is code for “Nacho didn’t destroy anything and we got free waffles.”
🛏️ The Rooms: Spacious suites with full kitchens, big fridges, and a living area perfect for Netflix marathons and me hogging the couch.
🏨 The Resort: More of a casual vibe than a full resort—think pool, fire pit, and enough elbow room for humans and hounds alike.
📍 The Location: Centrally located on William Hilton Parkway, just a few miles from beaches, bike trails, and all the shrimp tacos my humans can eat.
🍽️ Resort Dining: No fancy on-site restaurants, but free hot breakfast every morning (I may have sampled a sausage or two), and a market with snacks and microwavables.
💪 Gym: Small but functional fitness center where my humans pretend to “work out” while I nap in judgment.
🎯 Activities & Amenities: Outdoor pool, grilling area, laundry room, and free shuttle access to local hotspots—aka plenty to keep the humans distracted.
💰 Cost and Extra Fees:
Nightly rates usually range from $150–$300, depending on season.
Pet fee is $75 for 1–4 nights or $125 for longer stays (clearly money well spent on me).
No resort fee—just straight-up Hilton Head hospitality with zero fluff.
Final Thoughts
Home2 Suites Hilton Head is the kind of place where I can stretch out, snack hard, and not worry about knocking over some fancy sculpture. It’s not bougie—but hey, neither is chasing squirrels, and that’s still top-tier fun.
