Hotel Van Zandt

Hi, I’m Nacho—a fluffy traveler with a taste for the finer things (and the tastiest treats). I recently checked into Hotel Van Zandt in Austin, and let me tell you—this place knows how to roll out the red carpet for pups like me. From cozy beds and bowls to squirrel-filled strolls by the lake, it’s a doggone dream come true. Here’s my tail-wagging review of everything I loved—and what made my humans just as happy. 🐾

   Nacho Review

Lemme just say, this place is super posh and they treated me like a celebrity. Super cush digs. Feature highlights include:

  • Warm Welcome: From the moment I strutted into the lobby, I was greeted like royalty. The front desk had treats ready and even gave my humans a doggy welcome bag (snacks, poop bags, and a toy!). Classy.

  • Comfy Digs: Our room had hardwood floors—no scary carpet smells—and the cozy dog bed they brought up made naptime feel like spa time. There was even a custom food + water bowl setup just for me.

  • Walkability: Lady Bird Lake Trail is right nearby, so I got long, tail-wagging walks with views. Squirrels galore.

  • Social Scene: The hotel is pet-friendly, not just pet-tolerant. I met other pups in the lobby, at the bar patio (hello, Barkarita hour?), and on the rooftop terrace. Everyone was cool with me being around—no side-eye!

No Extra Pet Fee: That’s right—no “pet fee” nonsense here. I’m considered a guest, not a nuisance.
