La Boca

Santa Fe, NM

La Boca Restaurant is a lively spot where my humans get to enjoy mouthwatering Spanish-inspired tapas and an impressive wine list, all while I soak up the fun vibes from their sunny patio. Located right in downtown Santa Fe, it’s the perfect place for people-watching and hoping for a sneaky bite of paella or jamón—because nothing makes a pup’s day like good food and a bustling atmosphere.

   Nacho Review

La Boca is a lively downtown spot where humans feast on Spanish tapas and sip sherry while pups like me soak up the patio vibes and dream of snagging a bite of manchego. The atmosphere is cozy and bustling, just like a real European wine bar, and it’s perfect for people-watching (and maybe begging for a little pork belly). With most small plates and drinks in the $$$ out of $$$ range, it’s a treat for both food-loving humans and their hopeful, four-legged sidekicks.

Mom & Pop’s 2-Cents

My humans loved La Boca for its Spanish tapas, lively downtown buzz, and the kind of patio where even a pup like me can dream of gourmet table scraps (not that I got any… but hope springs eternal).

🍽️ What my folks ordered
•Red Sangria: Fruity, refreshing, and apparently “dangerously sippable”—my humans were all smiles after a glass (or two).
•Patatas Bravas: Crispy potatoes with spicy tomato sauce and aioli—basically, the kind of snack humans fight over while I practice my best “feed me” eyes.
•Steak Tapa: Tender, juicy steak bites with bold Spanish flavors—my nose was working overtime.
•Classic Paella: Saffron rice loaded with seafood and meats; my folks called it “a showstopper,” but I call it “the ultimate tease.”

🌟 Top Recommended Dishes
•Patatas Bravas (crispy, spicy, and totally addictive)
•Classic Paella (a must for sharing, if you’re lucky enough to get a bite)
•Albóndigas (Spanish meatballs in tomato sauce—humans rave, pups drool)
•Gambas al Ajillo (sizzling garlic shrimp, aka “don’t blink or you’ll miss it”)

🍷 Top Recommended Cocktails & Beverages
•Red Sangria (fruity, festive, and perfect for patio sipping)
•Sherry flight (for humans who want to feel extra fancy)
•Spanish wines by the glass (because nothing says “tapas night” like a good Rioja)

Final Thoughts

La Boca is the kind of place where my humans get to pretend they’re in Spain for a night, while I get to practice my best “one bite for you, one for me” routine from the patio.
