Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort
Hilton Head, South Carolina
If you’re looking for sun, sand, and an unreasonable number of tennis courts, The Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort is basically a paradise—for humans and their four-legged royalty (me). The beach is just steps away, the palm trees are perfect for dramatic photo ops, and the staff treats me like I actually paid for the room.

Humans will love the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort—something about “luxury meets laid-back” and “spa vibes with beach access,” while I was just trying to figure out how to sneak into the pool.
The Rooms: Spacious suites with kitchenettes (read: snack access), balconies for ocean surveillance, and a bed that almost made them forget I snore.
The Resort: Tropical landscaping, lagoons, three pools, and enough cushy lounge chairs to make napping a competitive sport.
The Location: Smack dab on Hilton Head’s most scenic stretch—close to Palmetto Dunes, but far enough from screaming toddlers.
Resort Dining:
hh prime: A beachside steakhouse serving USDA Prime beef and fresh seafood, with an open kitchen and live music on select evenings.
Palmetto Market: A casual café offering continental-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus grab-and-go options and Stance Coffee.
XO Sports & Spirits: A sports bar featuring burgers, wings, and local craft beers, ideal for watching the game.
Breeze: A beachside and poolside bar serving tropical cocktails, craft beers, and a menu of salads and sandwiches.
Buoy Bar: Located by the main pool, offering drinks, salads, sandwiches, and wraps for poolside dining.
Gym: Fully equipped fitness center so they could run indoors on purpose—truly a mystery to me.
Activities & Amenities: Beach access, tennis courts, pickleball, bike rentals, fire pits, and a spa for humans who think massages fix personality flaws.
Cost and Extra Fees:
Room Rates: Range from ~$250–$500+ depending on season and room type.
Pet Fee: $200 one-time cleaning fee per stay.
Resort Fee: Around $35/night, covering Wi-Fi, parking, and access to beach chairs and umbrellas.
Final Thoughts
The Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort is basically my version of doggy heaven—great beach sniffing, fancy restaurants and amenities for the humans, and just enough rules to keep me mildly annoyed but mostly spoiled.
